Hydropter is the most incredible boat in the world. These guys are real killers ! TY luc alphand and Tabarly !
The Japanese didn’t ‘discover’ gun powder either. The Chinese did centuries earlier. The Japanese simply showed them how to use it. See the parallel I’m drawing here?
Columbus did not “discover” America, it was found centauries before by the Vikings.
This record totally destroyed by Sail Rocket. They only got the record in the first place by suing to get the kiteboard record nullified…..
That’d be North American mate.
to move the sails, tacking. google.
What is he turning that for

avec 10 tonne des cargo… ? je pense que no.
The difference is that travelling on water one is actually dealing with the interphase of two liquids. In air, a vacuum, or even under the surface of water there is no limit to speed. On the surface, traditional boats are limited in their speed based on hull length- the longer the boat, the faster it can go. In order for it to go faster, it needs to ‘plane’ or submerge.
This is very cool! If Christopher Columbus had this he’d have discovered America in 1392. lol
So being fat makes you less dorky?
ik vind het design van het amerikaanse team mooier.
The ‘special’ kind of special 😉
59 Miles per hour that is hauling ass. Wind Power
I wonder why they dont make the extensions that hold the hulls into wings to use the ground effect for additional lift? Like the ekranoplan
Most Australians can’t find Australia on a map… just sayin……
If one looks carefully at the immersed wing, one sees the leading edge cavitating in certain areas. A bit of extra polish will keep the flow laminar across the whole surface, but at the surface or the warer itself, the air rushes in the space that is formed just behind the leading edge. Not easily analysed that part, but wonderful to behold as a piece of engineering art!
The project consists of engineering invisibilities harmonizing with visual art and music of the wind. It makes a man feel like conquering his surroundings.
. . . in English, please!
